We have winners

We had some interesting entries for my giveaway of Sean Ferrell‘s debut novel, NUMB. Thanks to all who participated. If you aren’t caught up on the contest or want to read my review of the book, click this bold, capitalized, and underlined WORD.

Our first entry was from Stacey Graham and I’d like to give her our “Uh…” Award.

That lion certainly got fancy for his photo shoot. And Stacey, I’ve got the number to a great psychiatrists when you’re ready.

Our next entry was from Kari Lynn Dell who writes about what ranching life is like in Montana. I LOVE her blog.

She really nailed it (knee slap. wipes tear. oh, I kill myself) in one shot.

Our final entry was from Mr. John Ochwat. He wins our Thorough Award. He not only had photographic documentation of these scenes, but re-enacted them in Excite-O-Vision™. Riveting stuff, people.

I present them in sequence.

The cage fight. I can taste the mob’s desire.

A close-up of the carnage. I am quesy at it all.

The man is about to be nailed for profit. I feel for him and wonder if the Mexican wrestler in the crowd is about to hurl.

I don’t know about you all, but I am on the edge of my seat. I’d like John to re-enact all my favorite books. He can begin with the entire Chronicles of Narnia. I’ll be here. Waiting. Counting the seconds. One, two, three, four, five, six, seve-

We have several honoroable mentions. Linda Grimes took a fantastic photo found here. She then went and won herself a copy of NUMB on another contest. I know. I couldn’t believe it, either. A-NOTHER CONTEST?

I’d like to give a shout-out (like I do with all my homies) to Newt, Andrew Schaffer, Simon Larter, Jamey Stegmaier, Bill Cameron, and Tawna Fenske. They all did a bang up job helping me promote the contest.

Tawna had the most extensive photos. Go take a look around her blog because she runs a great show over at Don’t pet me, I’m writing.

If the winners will please email me their address, full names, social security numbers, credit card information, and date of birth, I’ll send you your books. I also might leave town for a while.

Thank you and goodnight!
